One of the suspects in the 2016 armed robbery of Kim Kardashian has said he plans to apologize in court, during the trial which begins Monday in Paris.
71 year old Yunice Abbas, who has publicly acknowledged his involvement, is among 10 suspects facing charges including armed robbery and kidnapping.
Kardashian is expected to testify in person at the trial, scheduled to run through May 23. The star has previously described being terrified as robbers pointed a gun at her during the theft of jewelry worth millions of dollars from a Paris apartment.
Abbas said he acted as an unarmed lookout and did not personally threaten Kardashian, but acknowledged he shared responsibility for the crime.
