“(talking about the clashes in Jaramana on Tuesday) This audio recording stirred the emotions of the people, and as a result, demonstrations broke out in some Syrian provinces, leading to mobilization and calls to hold the person who made this audio recording accountable. Armed and popular groups then moved towards the city of Jaramana, and the Ministry of Interior took action and deployed a security cordon to protect the city’s residents. The incident began with the targeting of a security checkpoint at one of the entrances to the city of Jaramana, which led to the immediate death of two personnel and the wounding of several others. Clashes then erupted.”

“(talking about the clashes in Jaramana on Tuesday) Due to the state of tension and mobilization that occurred, and the unknown source of the gunfire, these clashes led to the deaths of approximately fourteen people from both sides. The Ministry of Interior was then sent, supported by forces from the Ministry of Defense. They were able to impose security in the city and defuse the crisis. After that, a delegation representing the governorate entered and met with religious and social figures in the city. It was agreed to hold accountable the individuals responsible for the attack, compensate the affected residents, and establish security within the city.”

“(talking about the clashes in Ashrafiet Sahnaya on Wednesday) Regarding the events in Ashrafiet Sahnaya last night, Wednesday, an outlaw group targeted a security checkpoint tasked with protecting the city, leading to the deaths of members of the attacking group. A ceasefire and de-escalation were then agreed upon, but immediately after, the outlaw group in Achrafieh Sahnaya treacherously targeted a security patrol, killing six members of the patrol.”

“(talking about the clashes in Ashrafiet Sahnaya on Wednesday) In an effort to avoid escalating the situation and preserve civil peace, a ceasefire was agreed upon once again. A group of outlaws then returned and targeted a security patrol, killing five security personnel. The Ministry of Interior subsequently sent security force reinforcements, backed by forces from the Ministry of Defense, to arrest the outlaw group, which had been threatening civil peace in the town of Ashrafiet Sahnaya for the past period. The operation ended Wednesday evening with the neutralization of the group, the arrest of most of its members, the confiscation of its weapons, and the imposition of security throughout the town of Ashrafiet Sahnaya.”
