On Thursday the Cardinal’s day began at 7:45 a.m. when they departed Casa Santa Maria. At 12:30 p.m., the cardinals broke for what may have been a crucial lunch. Vatican expert Michael Sean Winters tells Inside Edition the food encourages the cardinals to reach a decision. At 6:07 p.m. local time, white smoke billowed out of the chimney, indicating a new pope has been chosen. Some of the cardinals reportedly watched the movie "Conclave."
