US officials: Deal struck to cut China trade deficit | DW News

US officials say "substantial progress" has been made in trade talks with China.
Speaking in Geneva, Switzerland, on the second day of negotiations, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said an agreement had been reached to reduce China’s trade surplus with the US. The US announced massive tariffs on goods from China in April.
