"You say (David) Mamet is tough, but, you know, the more you do it, you know, there’s a rhythm and a logic to his writing that I would say mostly flows, like 90% of the time your brain goes, ‘Oh, I see, I see what he’s doing here.’ There are a few moments that maybe I struggle with, but honestly, I played a character named Saul Goodman, and I struggled with — that character spoke quite differently from me. I, you know, maybe — I’m from Chicago and Mamet’s writing Chicago guys, so maybe that made it easier for me as well. Also, I probably swear too much in my own personal life, and so the barrage of swear words is actually easy for me."
