Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was with his grandkids and other family members at a creek at Dumbarton Oaks Park in Washington DC, where swimming and wading are banned. The creek they were splashing around in has "high levels of bacteria… that make swimming, wading, and other contact with the water a hazard to human (and pet) health," the National Park Service says. Photos show Kennedy fully submerged in the water. Environmental consultant Marchant Wentworth spoke with Inside Edition.
