STORYLINE:
The Cannes Film Festival’s famous red carpet is ready to welcome the stars for the 78th edition.
The carpet was rolled out on a sunny Tuesday morning at the Palais des Festivals, ahead of the event’s opening night.
This year’s official opener is "Leave One Day" ("Partir Un Jour") by first-time French filmmaker Amelie Bonnin.
