Hiker Rescued After Going Missing for 3 Weeks Reunites With Parents

Tiffany Slaton, 27, survived for three weeks in the wilderness. The medical student reunited with her worried parents, who thought they might never see her again. The sheriff’s department in Fresno, California, released new bodycam footage of Slaton in the moments after she was rescued. Slaton went missing in the Sierra Nevadas, where the weather was treacherous. Slaton stumbled on a resort where doors to a cabin had been left unlocked during off-season for hikers who might need shelter.
