Ukraine and Russia are getting closer to a major swap of prisoners after they exchanged lists of captives for release. They contain the names of one thousand soldiers from each side who would be exchanged in one of the largest such swaps of the war. Thousands of Ukrainian soldiers and civilians are in Russian custody and the UN has warned of widespread abuse. DW’s Rebecca Ritters met with one mother in Kyiv campaigning for her son’s release.
