STORYLINE:
A key witness stared down Harvey Weinstein and pointed sharply at him as she left court in sobs.
The visual confrontation on Tuesday marked one of the most heated moments of the former studio boss’ sex crimes retrial.
It happened after Jessica Mann described Weinstein raping her in a Beverly Hills, California, hotel room around the beginning of 2014.
Weinstein has pleaded not guilty to raping Mann in New York in 2013 and isn’t charged with the alleged rape in California.
After Mann and jurors left court for a break, Weinstein’s lawyer made the latest of more than a half-dozen requests for a mistrial.
He cited Mann’s gesticulation, among other things. Judge Curtis Farber denied the request but suggested Mann be told to avoid such moves.
