A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after the Liverpool parade crash, Merseyside Police have said.
Police also said that the 53-year-old, from West Derby, has also been arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs and dangerous driving offences.
Almost 50 people were injured on Monday when a car ploughed into a crowd during Liverpool FC’s Premier League title parade in the city.
Assistant Chief Constable Jenny Sims said 11 people remain in hospital, but were in a stable condition.
