WorldPride 2025 wrapped up in Washington DC this weekend with various festivities and a parade which concluded in front of the US Capitol. It’s the first time the US city has hosted the international festival, which celebrates the global LGBTQ+ community. This year’s event was seen as something of a show of defiance to US President Donald Trump, whose administration has been accused of attempting to curtail the rights of sexual minorities.
