"I was woken up literally a couple of minutes before the alarm and my parents asked me to go to the pantry in the corridor, like a shelter. I heard a buzzing sound, then my dad ran to me and covered me with his hand, then there was a very loud explosion. I heard everything and honestly, my whole life flashed before my eyes. I already thought that was it. I started having a panic attack, honestly, I suffered from them at the beginning of the war, but now everything is fine, but now it has started again. One of our windows flew off the hinges and honestly I was very scared. The explosion was right next to me. In fact, I was born in a shirt (meaning she had good luck), because when the Shahed flew over, it was just…I’m shocked that I’m alive."

"This night is very hard for us because it’s attacks by the terrorist, by the Russian Federation. It’s very loud outside because we right now are in the parking (lot) with a lot of people because we feel a little bit scared because it’s very, very noisy, because of the rockets, because of the Shaheds which are flying like bees. It’s very scary because you might die of it. So we’re a little bit shocked because the bomb detonated near our house. And we were very near it."

STORYLINE:
A Russian missile and drone attack on Kyiv early Friday killed at least four people and injured 20 others, the city mayor said, as air raid sirens rang out during a wider combined attack across Ukraine.
Multiple explosions were heard in Kyiv where falling debris sparked fires across several districts as air defense systems attempted to intercept incoming targets, according to the head of the Kyiv City Administration.
Authorities reported damage in several districts, and rescue workers were responding at multiple locations. They urged residents to seek shelter.
A few local residents huddled in a parking lot for safety with their children and dog.
"I heard a buzzing sound, then my dad ran to me and covered me with his hand, then there was a very loud explosion. I heard everything and honestly, my whole life flashed before my eyes. I already thought that was it," said 14-year-old Vitalina Vasylchenko, who hid in the lot with her 6-year-old sister and mother.
In Solomyanskyi district, a fire broke out on the 11th floor of a 16-storey residential building.
