STORYLINE:
Saudi company AviLease on Monday announced it has placed an initial order for some 40 aircraft with the European plane maker.
The order includes 10 A350 freighters and 30 A320neo-family passenger aircraft.
The agreement also foresees a future increase to 22 of the A350F freighters and to 55 of the A320neo jets.
The deal was signed by AviLease CEO Edward O’Byrne and Airbus sales chief Benoît de Saint-Exupéry at the 2025 Paris Airshow.
