They want to have nuclear terrorism, which will put the entire world under nuclear blackmail, and they would use these weapons. That’s what the Ayatollah Khamenei says that he would do. He would use these weapons to wipe Israel off the map. Well, he’s not going to. We’re not going let him.”

“President Trump will do what’s best for America. I trust his judgment. He’s a tremendous friend, a tremendous world leader, a tremendous friend of Israel and the Jewish people. And we will do what we have to do, and we are doing it. We are committed to destroying the nuclear threat, the threat of a nuclear annihilation against Israel. We’re able to do it. And we, of course, will make our own determination. But I have to say that the partnership with the United States, the partnership with President Trump, with whom I speak to almost every day, is incredible.”

“That’s a decision for the (US) president to make, but I can tell you that they’re already helping a lot, because they’re participating in the protection of the skies over Israel and its cities, with THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) missiles, batteries that are in Israel, with Aegis ships that are on the shore of Israel, with our pilots that are fighting alongside our pilots to knock out drones. I think it’s a remarkable cooperation.”

STORYLINE:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba on Thursday, after it was struck by an Iranian missile that damaged its surgical ward.
More than 70 people from the Soroka Medical Center were wounded, where smoke rose as emergency teams evacuated patients.
Hospital staff said several dozen people were lightly injured, adding that most patients had already been moved to safe spaces.
“We’re targeting military sites, we’re targeting nuclear sites, we are targeting missile sites. They’re targeting a hospital,” said Netanyahu while briefing the press in front of the hospital.
“They can give this nonsense that they’re targeting military sites. What military sites? I know all the military sites in Israel. There isn’t a military site here for miles and miles around.”
Netanyahu said he believes U.S. President Donald Trump will do what’s best for America, adding that he trusts his judgment.
Israel meanwhile struck a heavy water reactor that is part of Iran’s nuclear program.
