Israeli forces have killed 23 Palestinians after opening fire on crowds gathered near an aid distribution site, witnesses and medics say.
Around 150 people were also injured.
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said troops fired warning shots after people gathered nearby. An Israeli aircraft then struck "several suspects" who the IDF said continued walking towards troops.
The UN Human right’s office says more than 500 people have been killed trying to reach those aid points, which are now run by US and Israeli governments.
A UN official has described the system as an “abomination” and a “death trap”.
Israel rejects allegations that it has committed war crimes in Gaza.
