AT&T finds returns in retired copper

As AT&T transitions its broadband service from copper to fiber, the company anticipates $6 billion in cost savings when its copper network is taken off-line. CFO Pascal Desroches says the company is also getting financial returns from selling the copper it’s no longer using.
