STORYLINE:
Protesters were seen dragged and then arrested by police in the Hague as they staged a sit-down protest at a petrol station on Wednesday.
Extinction Rebellion demonstrators and other activists gathered to protest the two-day summit of NATO leaders, who are expected to agree to a new defense spending target.
On Sunday, hundreds of people also protested against NATO and military spending and against a possible conflict with Iran.
The Netherlands is hosting the annual meeting of the 32-nation alliance, where heads of government want to hammer out an agreement on a hike in defense spending demanded by U.S. President Donald Trump.
