Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to meet with Donald Trump in Washington. This will be Netanyahu’s third meeting with the US president since Trump returned to office in January.
The visit coincides with efforts by negotiators in Qatar to agree a ceasefire in Gaza. On Sunday, Trump said that there was a good chance such a deal could be reached this week.
