These hero kids all saved their parents. In 2015, Lexi got a well-deserved medal for saving her family after her mother fell asleep at the wheel. In 2017, 8-year-old Mikey saved his mom’s life after she choked on a muffin. In 2020, a brave 5-year-old boy came to the rescue of his family during a home invasion, by throwing toy trucks at the suspects. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.
