"And they said, `Well, we’re here to clean your house.’ Out of nowhere. And then maybe like 10 minutes later, reinforcements started coming in. So, we had up to 30 people on Sunday. I call them our 33 angels that ascended upon us."

"We had known by driving by and seeing this that it needed to be done. Woke up this morning, and there was a Facebook post for 621 Guadalupe. I shared it a couple times. I called my company. They’ve shared it. Within about 10 minutes of me showing up, four grown men, a Bobcat, a Kubota and about six trailers had then showed up."

Paul Welch and partner Elizabeth Hastings were considering moving after their cabin in Comfort, Texas, was destroyed in the July Fourth floods. Then, a man showed up and asked if he needed any help.
But it was true.
