The grieving families of Bryan Kohberger’s victims got their chance to confront the killer in court. Stephen Goncalves, Kaylee’s father, turned the podium so he could speak directly to Kohberger. Kaylee’s sister, Alivea, demanded to know the answers to questions about the case. She also berated him to his face. The judge and the prosecutor both wiped away tears. Kim Mogen, the grandmother of the victim Maddie Mogen, spoke about the pain all the families are enduring. Kohberger declined to speak.
