"I was so shocked when it happened so quickly after the concert. To see him on that stage, so emotional, so powerful, I cried when he came on. And it was so poignant that it was just a few weeks after that gig for it to be now, unfortunately, his passing. I think it is so beautiful that he got to finish and do his wish before he finally passed. Very sad but incredible. Incredible legacy."

DeBuono: "Absolutely. When we went to the show two weeks ago we knew that was probably the last time we would see him publicly, certainly performing. But when we found out last night that he had passed so soon afterwards it was kind of like…"
Voland: "Kind of shocking.
Voland: "When were were at the show, I told her, I’m like ‘This is like a living memorial that he gets to enjoy all this hard work and everyone is here for him.’ I just felt like it was a cool thing, not knowing that this was happening very soon after."
DeBuono: "All the fans in the other bands just talked about how Black Sabbath changed everyone’s lives, it gave you the power to go out and do what you wanted and follow that path."

"Him and Sabbath mean everything to me because without those four blokes from Aston in the West Midlands, my home, I wouldn’t have any of the friends, my wife, my kids because they inspired Mel, everything to Through Lines, they inspired every single thing. They are progenitors of the music I listen to. Without them I would have nothing. So it’s like losing a family member in a way."

"I grew up listening to Ozzy and I’ve passed the music down to my children who also enjoy listening to Ozzy . I planned on bringing them here as a celebration, and as it is he passed yesterday and it’s a sad day but to be part of something so special means a lot to me and I’m here with my family and it means a lot to them too and I’m here with my children."
