"Well it made sense. We were approached several years ago. We didn’t want a huge production crew and our privacy taken away and it was kind of like, let’s do a reality show about Hulk Hogan wrestling, and we didn’t need that. But then Brooke has been beating up the music industry for a few years trying to break through and we just thought, you know, with the smaller crew, VH1 being one of the greatest music channels of all time and a chance to put Brooke on an even playing field, like with the Hilary Duffs and the Simpsons and the Lohans because everybody now has a vehicle instead of just radio they have a TV as a safety net and a vehicle, we just thought it made sense. Once we started filming it really showed off how we were like the anti-Osbournes and we have all the love and support in our family, we run a really tight ship but we are kind of crazier than the Osbournes, but you know, we are straight."
