"it’s not even just one thing. I mean, before ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine,’ it would always be just digital short stuff from ‘SNL’ – like Lonely Island songs like ‘Dick in a Box,’ and ‘I’m on a Boat’ or things like that. One time a kid yelled at me, ‘I just jizzed in my pants!’ because we have a song called ‘Jizzed in my Pants’ and I was like, ‘Arrgh, don’t say that!’ And now, you know, a lot of people go like ‘Jake Peralta!’ You know, they’ll just say straight up, Jake Peralta. And I’m like, that’s my character’s name. They know the character. But yeah, it’s kind of a little bit of all of them, which I feel like is really nice. It’s nice to feel like it it’s not just one thing."
