I remember my first event being Raw, and it was the feud between Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan, and everybody was cheering for Hulk Hogan, and Shawn Michaels was heel for the first time, and it my first time seeing him live, and I was so upset because he was my favorite. But when you’re facing Hulk Hogan, you know what I’m saying? Everybody’s going to cheer for him, of course."

STORYLINE:
Wrestling fans gathered in Cleveland, Ohio Friday, for a WWE Friday Night SmackDown one day after icon in professional wrestling, Hulk Hogan died.
Hogan, the mustachioed, headscarf-wearing, bicep-busting icon of professional wrestling who turned the sport into a massive business and stretched his influence into TV, pop culture and conservative politics during a long and scandal-plagued second act, died Thursday in Florida at age 71.
Hogan was pronounced dead at a hospital less than 90 minutes after medics in Clearwater arrived at his home to answer a morning call about a cardiac arrest, police said.
Fans said they were excited Friday night’s events, but many had Hogan in mind.
"He was so funny," Krista Toutant said. "He loved his country. I love that about him."
