"We don’t have airplanes or airports in Palestine. And at the same time, in order to stand out in the project I’m working on, I have to create something unique. So, among the many villas (guesthouses) and chalets, I have a special project. When something is rare to come across, it usually becomes a successful project."

"Children love the place to the point that when families are staying here, the children ask to stay another day. Sometimes it’s already booked, and we can’t accommodate them. I feel bad when people want to stay longer but there’s no room available."

"I support all young people, those who are afraid of starting projects or taking risks. People often think about whether a 20-year-old launching a project would fail or succeed. I’ve heard that a lot. But I took the risk and launched this project. Many people told me I would fail, that it wouldn’t work. But thank God, it turned out to be a very unique investment. I truly recommend that all young people start projects, work hard, and succeed. Take risks in life. Even if you’re young—so what? Grow, work, and invest in yourself. There’s nothing wrong with that."

STORYLINE:
What looks like a grounded plane in the West Bank town of Qaffin won’t be taking to the skies at all because it is actually an airplane-themed guesthouse.
A young Palestinian entrepreneur launched the guesthouse, Airplane Chalet, inside a concrete structure designed and built to resemble a plane.
It is located within sight of the separation wall dividing the West Bank from Israeli territory.
"We don’t have airplanes or airports in Palestine," said Minwer Harsha, who wanted to build something that stands out. "I have a special project. When something is rare to come across, it usually becomes a successful project."
Harsha wanted to spread some joy with his project, saying children often have a great time during their stay.
"When families are staying here, the children ask to stay another day. Sometimes it’s already booked, and we can’t accommodate them," the 27-year-old entrepreneur said.
The guesthouse has a swimming pool for children and a fountain where the water appearing to sprout out of a small airplane.
Harsha said launching the project came with risks, but has been rewarding as well. "It turned out to be a very unique investment. I truly recommend that all young people start projects, work hard, and succeed."
The airplane-themed guesthouse opened its doors to visitors earlier this year.
