“Welcome, everybody, welcome to the Richard Rodgers Theater, you guys psyched? Yeah, you see somebody back there, yeah. Also a two-time Oscar nominee, and now he’s officially joining the ranks of legends at Madame Tussauds New York with his very own wax figure. Give it up for the one, the only, Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Fallon: “We’ve been through some weird, cool things together and a lot of experiences. Don’t even look back yet, but this is – this has to be a surreal moment. Are you excited? Are you nervous? Honestly, how are you feeling?
Miranda: “It’s very strange. Thank you all for coming to the Richard Rogers, a stage I’ve called home since my first Broadway show. What I think about a lot is that every show I’ve rehearsed for Broadway is at New 42nd Street Studios, which is across the street from Madame Tussauds. So every time you go to make something new, you see Whoopi out on the street, you see Sam Jackson out on street, you see The Rock out on street. While we’re trying to just make stuff.”

Miranda: “Wow. I think he’s taller than me. Which I appreciate.”
Fallon: “No, no, you’re wearing boots.”
Miranda: “Oh, I’m wearing my boots, I’m wearing my comfy boots.”
Fallon: “You’re wearing heels, yeah. Now you’re going flats.
Miranda:" It’s very – it’s really amazing. Oh, it’s weird. Oh, I love it. I love, yeah.”
Fallon: “It’s phenomenal. Now what was the process like for you? Could you walk us through?”
Miranda: “So it’s the most Tim Burton-esque process. It’s a full day. It’s full day of head scans and eye scans. And you know this, because you’ve done it. There’s like a lady who has a box full of eyeballs."
Fallon: "That is the truth, by the way"
Miranda: "And she takes out eyeballs and is looking for the eyeball that most closely resembles your eyeball. And this was about a year ago. So like you pose for it a year in advance, and I’ve been waiting to see this.”

Fallon: "Hamilton has inspired millions and become a cultural milestone. Everyone loves Hamilton. What do you hope fans feel when they see your wax figure in person at Madame Tussauds here in New York?
Miranda: “Oh, I – just have a blast. I don’t know. I’m excited to get the pictures back from fans who spend time with Wax-M anuel Miranda.”

Lin-Manuel Miranda dubbed his new wax figure "Wax-Manuel Miranda," as he came face to face with his replica for the first time.
The likeness of "Hamilton’s" award-winning creator was unveiled by Madame Tussauds New York, Tuesday, in honor of the 10th anniversary of the show.
