The German government has resumed its program allowing at-risk Afghans to come to Germany. On Monday, a plane carrying 47 people landed at Hanover Airport. These migrants are considered at risk in Taliban-ruled Afghanistan due to their work, identity, or beliefs. The group included 19 women, 20 children, and eight men. According to the German Foreign Office, approximately 2,100 Afghans who have been granted admission to Germany are currently stranded in Pakistan.
