This comes in addition to the announcement just this week that a hundred more soldiers are expected to fall, a hundred young people with their whole lives ahead of them. It could be the child of any one of you. Enough, enough."

"Here we stand to remind again the Prime Minister, Mr . Netanyahu, his cabinet, which is more like a politburo that we are standing here with a very simple and straight and direct message: We want ceasefire and hostage deal. And this is his responsibility to do it."

"Yossi was taken from our home, lived before our wide-eyed and terrified eyes, and I became a widow and my daughters became orphans due to military pressure exerted on the place where my Yossi was held, Itay Svirsky and Noa Argamani. The air force bombings caused the house to collapse, and thus Yossi was murdered after surviving 96 terrible days in captivity, and later Itay was also murdered. The opportunities to bring them back to us alive were endless, and time and time again the government and the cabinet chose to leave the hostages in hell for more and more time in the face of possible deals."

STORYLINE:
Relatives of the hostages held in Gaza called on Israel’s prime minister to halt the renewed offensive in the Strip and secure an immediate ceasefire to free their loved ones.
They held a news conference outside the residence of Israeli Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem – many holding banners and posters of the hostages.
We have already lost dozens of hostages held in Gaza. They returned in black bags because of decisions you made, due to the management of a war that lost its direction," said Anat Angrest, mother of hostage Matan Angrest.
Protesters also took to Israel’s streets for what they called a “day of disruption" on Wednesday, denouncing the call-up of tens of thousands of reservists for an offensive that has drawn global condemnation and fueled fears in Israel it could endanger hostages still held in Gaza.
The demonstrations, the latest of their kind to roil Israel, accuse Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his cabinet of failing to secure a ceasefire deal and instead intensifying an invasion that hospitals in Gaza say in its initial stages is already accelerating the rise in fatalities.
Meanwhile, Israeli strikes on Wednesday killed at least 100 Palestinians, more than half in Gaza City, according to the territory’s Health Ministry.
