This event had everything, pomp, pageantry, and prison bars. The Buen Pastor prison in Bogota, Colombia, held its 7th annual Miss Congeniality Pageant, featuring 16 inmates competing for the title. While there was plenty of time before the show to perfect their hair, makeup, and wardrobe, these women weren’t actually judged on their appearance. Officials say the pageant is meant to promote values like compassion, solidarity, and respect. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
