US President Donald Trump has told American media, that authorities have captured a suspect in the killing of right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk.
Speaking on Fox News, Trump said that there was a high degree of certainty that Kirk’s shooter had been caught. Trump claimed that quote ‘someone close to him turned him in’. Charlie Kirk was gunned down at a university campus in Utah on Wednesday. The killing sparked a massive manhunt, with the FBI appealing to the public for information.
