“When I first debuted, I didn’t know much about K-pop, and everything felt new to me. But over the past five years, I’ve gradually become accustomed to this lifestyle and adapted to K-pop idol activities. I think I had a lot of time to get used to it. When I first debuted, everything was new to me and I kept trying to learn something new. That’s how we’ve continued to grow and got to where we are now.”

"It’s not just me who has changed, but the members have changed as well, so we got to know each other better as time goes by. I started to learn more about the members individually. So even if I haven’t changed much, the other members have grown together, so I think it’s starting to fit together better. I don’t think I’ve changed that much. Maybe I have changed since I was seventeen, but I don’t think I’ve tried to change. It’s about leadership."

"All seven of us have the same goal, is to become a better artist, to become a better performer. Is to become more … You know, spread happiness to the fans. And having that same goal is what makes us connected. And all the other differences is not that important or doesn’t affect us that in that way. We all might have different mindsets and we all have different ways of getting to that goal. But even though that might happen, if you still have the same goal, you’re all going in the same path, same direction. And I think, keeping that in mind, we were taught that actually from the beginning. Someone actually told us that. And that really stuck to my head. And I that’s sort of the main idea and everything’s built around that. There’s a lot of differences, you know, from our seven. And growing up, living 24-7 with each other is not always happy, always fun. So we might have differences, we might arguments here and there, but at the end of the day, we all gathered here for the same goal, and we all know that. So that’s why we … I think that’s what makes a great team."

STORYLINE:
K-pop group ENHYPEN have wrapped up their ‘WALK THE LINE’ world tour, marking another milestone in their journey as one of the genre’s fastest-rising acts.
The seven-member group, consisting of Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki, performed hits from their extensive catalog to a sold-out crowd of over 22,000 fans at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium. That’s before visiting London, Manchester, Amsterdam, Brussels, concluding with dates in Berlin and Paris this month.
ENHYPEN debuted in 2020 under BELIFT LAB, a subsidiary of HYBE, the entertainment powerhouse behind BTS.
“When I first debuted, I didn’t know much about K-pop, and everything felt new to me,” said Sunghoon.
“But over the past five years, I’ve gradually become accustomed to this lifestyle and adapted to K-pop idol activities. I think I had a lot of time to get used to it."
Despite their meteoric rise, the members acknowledge that success hasn’t come without challenges. Jake, the group’s Australian-Korean member, spoke candidly about the realities of maintaining group cohesion while living and working in close quarters.
"I think that’s what makes a good team."
