The emir of Qatar has accused Israel of not caring about its hostages held in the Gaza Strip — and of seeking to derail ceasefire efforts, following Israel’s strike on Hamas leaders in Doha last week.
The emir made the allegations at an emergency summit convened to coordinate a unified response to the airstrike on the Qatari capital. Officials from dozens of Arab and Islamic states attended the meeting — among them, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
