Tensions over the war in Gaza have spilled over into the artistic world after a top Israeli conductor was disinvited from a concert series in Belgium. The German chancellor said he was the victim of blatant antisemitism. Music festival organizers in Berlin backed that message, and invited him to lead an orchestra in the German capital instead.
