Late night comics are coming to the defense of Jimmy Kimmel the way they know best, with humor. The Daily Show set was decked out in gold, mimicking President Donald Trump’s love of gilded decor. Steven Colbert opened with a spoof from Disney’s "Beauty and the Beast." Colbert also resurrected his classic “Colbert Report” persona. Jimmy Fallon used punchlines about Trump were dubbed over with compliments. Seth Myers paid a sarcastic tribute to the president.
