STORYLINE:
A memorial for conservative activist Charlie Kirk is set for Sunday at a stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
31-year-old Kirk was fatally shot on Sept. 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University.
Suspect Tyler Robinson, 22, was arrested and charged in connection with the shooting.
The event will take place at State Farm Stadium, home to the Arizona Cardinals, which can hold up to 73,000 people.
The stadium is the largest facility in the Phoenix area and offers air conditioning, which is useful in the desert heat.
Kirk had ties to the area, with his conservative youth organization, Turning Point USA, based in Phoenix.
