STORYLINE:
Heavy rainfall hit the town of Pertuis, about 50 kilometers (31 miles) north of Marseille, as severe weather battered southern France on Sunday.
The French soccer league postponed Marseille’s home match against Paris Saint-Germain by nearly 24 hours.
The game, originally scheduled for Sunday night, will now be played Monday.
