However, what I can say is that it is natural that following recognition, mutual relations are established, and mutual political and diplomatic representations are created. We will wait for France to officialise the recognition and specify the protocol steps to follow concerning diplomatic representations."

"We see a shift in the position of the European Union, a position that a year ago completely ruled out any possible sanctions against Israel. "Well, this it’s under discussion. But as I said, for us, this mission must first be carried out by international forces mandated by the Security Council for a limited period that would allow for relief, survival, ensuring the transition, and also supporting the Palestinian forces that will be operational on the ground securing the Gaza Strip and providing services, and especially reconstructing the Gaza Strip."

"By the recognition of France of the state of Palestine, full diplomatic and political relations would be taking place. It will be a reciprocal relationship, as it is the case between every two states. But naturally the status of the mission would be upgraded into an embassy of the state of Palestine."

It is (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu who violated the ceasefire that was in place and that allowed the liberation of many Israeli hostages. It is important to act on agreement, a new ceasefire that would permit the liberation of hostages."
