Madagascar’s president dismisses government amid deadly protests | DW News

Madagascar’s president has dismissed his government, saying he was responding to the demands of protests that have spread across the country since last week. The mostly young demonstrators have been calling for better access to basics, like water and electricity. At least 22 people have died in clashes with police.
