A photo showed Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen sitting down with Kilmar Abrego Garcia with what looked like cocktails on the table. It turned out it was a set up. Garcia was dressed like a tourist by Salvadoran government officials and driven from the nation’s CECOT prison to the 5-star Sheraton Hotel. The cocktails appear to be fake. After the brief meeting, Garcia was brought back to the prison.
