"We worked on a special art project involving a group of Moroccan and Emirati artists. Through this project, we were able to gain insight into these artists’ perceptions and future visions on Andalusia. This project has been compiled into a book that available at the Sharjah stand."

"Physical books have never been as actual as today. We might think the opposite, but it’s not. Remember when we were locked down during COVID? All over the world, the sales for physical books soared all over the globe. And even with people now reading with e-readers, Kobos, reading e-books, but it is true that it represents a small portion of the sales of books all over the world."

"The Book Fair is very important and takes place annually, allowing Moroccan readers to discover new books. Researchers also visit the book fair to find books that help them with their university research. Students come as well to get new publications and books. It is a real opportunity for anyone who is interested in reading and keeping up with the latest books."

STORYLINE:
The 30th Rabat book fair features books by hundreds of publishers from around the world, tackling countless topics from history to technology and everything in between.
The exhibition opened on April 17 with 700 exhibitors from 48 countries, bringing readers books in Arabic, English and French.
The emirate of Sharjah is this year’s guest of honor as part of the cultural cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Morocco.
The exhibition features book signings and recreational activities for people of all ages.
