UN chief expresses ‘deep concerns’ over India and Pakistan tensions after Kashmir attack | BBC News

The UN Secretary General has expressed his "deep concern" over tensions between India and Pakistan following the deadly attack on 26 tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir.

India accused Pakistan of being indirectly involved and said two suspects are Pakistani nationals. India has suspended a landmark water treaty in response.

Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, was asked about his remarks that if water does not flow to Pakistan, India’s blood will.

But first, he rejected India’s allegations and told the BBC that Pakistan is being scapegoated.
