Jennifer McCabe testified that she helped Read search for O’Keefe, a Boston police officer, when he failed to come home. She claimed Read made incriminating statements when police and ambulances arrived. Read’s defense claims O’Keefe was beaten to death at a party and that she is being framed by cops.
