The Trump administration is undergoing its first major cabinet shakeup, with national security advisor Mike Waltz ousted from his post.
Waltz has faced calls to resign after he accidentally invited a journalist to a group chat which discussed sensitive military operations on the private messaging app Signal. But President Donald Trump says he will now nominate Waltz as US ambassador to the United Nations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will take on the role of interim National Security Advisor.
