“It took me a lot of time to get into character for the role. I grew up in a loving family and so it took some effort to understand the character and what she went through and how she behaved with her family. Also, I found it physically challenging to perform the funeral rites as I had to work on my own physical coordination.”

“It still feels fresh to win – even for the forth time. Let me be honest with you, I felt nervous on the stage when accepting the award. Receiving an award is such a magical thing. I also saw that a lot of performers were so nervous on stage when receiving their prize. Each performer has put in a lot of effort to play their roles and so we are all very touched when being honored with an award. The most important thing about getting this award is that it reminds me how lucky I am.”
