Israel vows retaliation for airstrike from Yemen | DW News

Israel is on high alert after a missile landed near Ben Gurion International Airport outside of Tel Aviv. The attack was claimed by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels, who have recently intensified missile launches at Israel, saying they are acting in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. Air carriers including British Airways, Lufthansa and Delta suspended some upcoming flights. Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised retaliation for the attack.
