7. SOUNDBITE (Spanish) Roberto Lasen, hat shop owner:
"I feel very happy to be able to redeem this story, to highlight this beautiful craft that has endured for so many years. It’s something quite rare nowadays, a business lasting over 100 years like this one, built on tradition, on a product that is loved and spoken about since we were children. It has always been a part of the culture, with the family talking about the product and sharing it with others."

"To me, this is the most beautiful thing because I carry it with me and try to do it as transparently and honestly as possible. And well, if it turns out well, which I believe it does, because I don’t think I fail much, then it’s a source of pride for me. Part of my craft is learning. The more one moves forward in life, the more one grows, the years go by, and you keep learning new things and this, to me, is something truly wonderful."

23. SOUNDBITE (Spanish) Pedro Díaz, Salesperson:
"In this shop, there’s a variety of products, but the one that’s been selling the most lately is this hat—a Fedora. It’s a dress hat. We offer two options: one made of fur felt, like this one, and one made of wool. They’re different in both material and price. In the south, for example, people often wear this fur felt hat. Why? Because it can get wet and absolutely nothing happens to it. Water just slides off. You could be out in the rain all day, and this hat will stay exactly the same."
