Some Americans are scrambling and waiting in long lines to get their Real IDs before this week’s deadline. Starting May 7th, if you don’t have a new state-issued Real ID or passport, you may have a problem traveling. TSA says every air traveler 18 years and older must now have a Real ID or a passport to fly domestically. TSA security operations executive Steve Lorincz says no one will be turned away if you don’t have a Real ID come May 7, but be prepared for a longer screening time.
