India has fired missiles into Pakistan in an escalation of a dispute between the neighboring nuclear powers.. Pakistan’s military says at least 26 civilians were killed. India says it struck infrastructure used by militants linked to last month’s attack against tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir. Pakistan claims to have shot down five Indian warplanes.
